The journey began with Friends Colony
Founded in 2018 but its vision started in 2015 and officially launched in October 2024, the Association of Gentlemen. ASSOGENTS, was born from a vision to bring together like-minded men dedicated to leadership, integrity, and societal impact.
The founder, spent years seeking men who shared his values and aspirations, understanding that true impact comes from collaboration among individuals of vision, capability, and character. His inspiration was to
create a space where men could grow, build businesses, influence society positively, and cultivate a legacy that transcends generations.
The journey began with Friends Colony, a preparatory platform designed to identify, nurture, and orient men who might one day become full members of ASSOGENTS.
At Friends Colony, the principles of dedication, commitment, and loyalty are instilled, shaping individuals into men worthy of the title of gentleman. Over time, those who demonstrate these qualities are invited to join the association and contribute to its mission of building a network of impactful leaders.
In 2024, Emiola Osifeso connected with friends from different circles, linking individuals who shared a vision for growth, collaboration, and societal contribution. By these connections, the foundation of ASSOGENTS was established, and today the association is led by its seven distinguished founding board members: Oyewole Idowu Anthony, Olukoya Bolaji, Emiola Osifeso, Adepoju Abdulrahman, Akinola Ogboye, Emeka Francis, and Nelson Akpama.
Together, they provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic leadership that ensure the association remains a force for excellence and positive influence in society. Friends Colony continues to exist as the gateway for men aspiring to join ASSOGENTS.
